Our team, part of UniCredit Digital Compliance, is responsible for governing, maintaining and evolving a heterogeneous application landscape covering AML Compliance domains in UCB AG. 

We are looking for a Digital Product Specialist – Medior to act as Technical Application Expert for a portfolio of applications, supporting both RUN and CHANGE activities and working in close collaboration with Functional Application Experts and Application Owners. 

The role requires a solid technical background, an operational mindset and the ability to operate across different technologies and vendors within a regulated banking environment. 

What you'll be doing

  • Act as Technical Application Expert for the applications in scope, supporting their stable operation and technical evolution. 
  • Support RUN activities, including technical analysis of incidents, issues and service requests, in coordination with Functional Experts and Application Owners. 
  • Perform technical root-cause analysis and support resolution of production issues. 
  • Support CHANGE activities, including upgrades, fixes, minor enhancements and infrastructure changes. 
  • Collaborate with Functional Application Experts to translate functional requirements into technical actions. 
  • Work closely with Application Owners to support planning, prioritization and execution of technical activities. 
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams on technical topics. 
  • Ensure application monitoring and contribute to the maintenance and update of technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the production setup. 
  • Support application cloudification programs for the applications in scope. 
  • Ensure compliance with security, operational and governance standards defined by UniCredit. 

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in technical application support or delivery roles within IT environments (banking or regulated industries preferred). 
  • Ability to operate across multiple applications and heterogeneous technologies. 
  • Solid understanding of RUN processes and technical incident management. 
  • Experience supporting CHANGE digital initiatives. 
  • Structured and reliable working approach, with strong attention to operational quality. 
  • Good communication skills and ability to report technical status clearly. 
  • Ability to work across Mainframe and Open Systems, including DB2, COBOL, Linux and Windows servers, and Java-based applications. 
  • Strong experience with databases and storage technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and NAS. 
  • Experience with cloud solutions. 
  • Experience working with vendor-delivered software and custom-built applications. 
  • Awareness of security, audit and regulatory constraints in a banking context. 
  • English.
