Position Overview
We are committed to delivering first-class investment solutions and services to institutional clients. We manage a range of tailored mandates, customized to the specific needs and objectives of our clients, with a particular focus on highly liquid investments, especially fixed income.
What you'll be doing
We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our Fund Management team. The successful candidate will contribute to the management of investment portfolios, support client-related activities, and help ensure high-quality investment solutions in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Portfolio monitoring and supervision;
• Observation of financial markets;
• Interaction with German- and English-speaking clients in investment committee meetings, etc.
• Taking investment decisions for dedicated mandates
• Pre-trade compliance checks and execution of market orders within a portfolio management system;
• Construction of investment proposals;
• Compilation of client reportings, presentations as well as market comments;
• Preparation of quantitative analyses as well as process analyses/ optimizations;
• Developing investment strategies as well as operating backtestings and simulations
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum two years of professional experience in the field of portfolio management, in particular for highly liquid
investments
• Completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, (Business) Mathematics, Statistics or similar studies;
• Further professional qualifications such as CFA, CIIA or CEFA are an advantage;
• Extensive knowledge in the area of financial markets, financial instruments and funds;
• Analytical and conceptual abilities and proficiency to proceed in a pragmatic and structured way;
• Proactive and autonomous as well as precise working attitude;
• Advanced experience with MS Office, especially Excel; VBA/ Python/ R programming is a plus;
• Team working orientation;
• Ideally experience in Bloomberg Professional;
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; German and/ or Italian will be considered as an asset
