We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Product Specialist – SAP BI/Analytics to support People & Culture (P&C) processes with a strong focus on reporting and analytics. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for the back-end application maintenance, stability, and data integrity of the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and the associated integration landscape, operating both local and global environments.

You will act as the key technical authority and trusted partner to P&C stakeholders, ensuring compliant, efficient, and well-integrated HR reporting processes

What you'll be doing

  • Act as the primary technical owner and referent for SAP Business Warehouse for the Group, Germany and Austria
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the reporting landscape, with special focus on:
    • Extractor- and ETL-Processes and Data Loading
    • Data Modelling and Cube/DSO Design
    • Data extraction and Provisioning
    • Process Chain Monitoring
  • Serve as a key liaison between P&C business referents and IT, translating business requirements into sustainable technical reporting solutions and advising on best practices.
  • Manage regular and ad-hoc operational activities, including:
    • Monthly reporting cycles (including Flat File Uploads)
    • Implementation and testing of legal change packages, HR support packages, and SAP Notes relevant to SAP BW
  • Own incident and problem management for SAP BW Backend, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP Basis, integration, and downstream system teams to proactively monitor system performance and interface stability.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM on premise (ECC 6.0, EHP8) in complex environments.
  • Senior Technical & Functional Expertise for SAP BW Back-End Architecture
    • Info-Providers (InfoCubes, DSOs)
    • MultiProviders
    • Tranformation and update rules 
  • Deep Understanding of and experience with Data Acquisition and Integration 
    • SAP Standard Extractors
    • Delta mechanism and data reconciliation
    • Custom-enhancements, eg. data upload monitors 
  • Management of Complex Process chains (Design, Monitoring, Trouble shouting)
  • Familiar with special requirements for HR Data Warehouses (eg. time dependency, recasting functionality)
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Interfaces and Integrations (inbound/outbound)
    • IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, file-based and middleware-driven interfaces 
    • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and reconciliation of HR data flows
  • Advanced Development Skills: Advanced SAP BW Customizing in BW, ABAP development for BW, incl. ABAP Objects, enhancements and user exits, experience with Notes implementation and SPAU/SPDD adjustments
  • Language & Communication 
    • English C1 – essential for SAP documentation, and stakeholder workshops
    • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
