Internal Audit is an independent function established by the Board to support the bank in achieving its strategic objectives. As part of this mission, we ensure transparency, integrity, and effective risk management across all business processes and IT landscapes.

To strengthen our Digital & Operations Audit capabilities, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Digital and Operation Auditor who will contribute to the evaluation of IT governance, IT processes, cybersecurity, technology-related and operations risks across the bank and its subsidiaries.

What you'll be doing

You will perform in-depth audit engagements as part of a diverse team on complex and emerging topics in areas related to Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Operations (e.g. Payments, Cards) and digitalization of the banking processes providing assurance on the key Digital and Security risks the Bank is exposed to.
 
▪ Perform audit engagements in UniCredit Bank Romania, its subsidiaries and internal/external service providers of the Bank
▪ Provide audit consultancy expertise to the Bank’s stakeholders
▪ Contribute to group-wide audit activities through collaboration with international colleagues in UniCredit Group
▪ Track the implementation of corrective measures and report the related status
▪ Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements, standards covering information security and best practices for IT processes

What you'll need to succeed

What we expect from you?

  • Education: relevant university or master’s degree in areas such as economics/ computer science/ mathematics/ cybernetics
  • Work experience: Minimum 2-3 years of Digital audit related experience or 3 years of relevant experience in an IT related domain / consulting / cybersecurity/ payments/ cards
  • Business skills, specialized knowledge or hands on experience in one of the following domains: IT audit, IT risk management, software development lifecycle, project management, cybersecurity, business continuity & disaster recovery, Windows/ UNIX/ IT Security tools administration, etc. Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
  • Willingness to learn and continuous development of Internal Audit skills and knowledge, Internal Audit International Standards, internal audit techniques
  • Soft skills: professional discipline, problem solving, proactive attitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, team player and flexibility, attention to details and structured approach
  • Languages: advanced level in English (both writing and speaking)

 

What makes the difference for us:

  • Relevant professional certification (or willingness to obtain one), such as CISA/ CISSP/ CIA, etc.
  • Data analytics and SAS/ KNIME/ other statistical systems know-how and practical experience with AI tools are considered a plus.
