  • Operate and support Kubernetes-based platforms with a focus on reliability and operational stability
  • Support containerized workloads running on Kubernetes in on-premises and/or cloud environments
  • Perform troubleshooting of container, pod, node, and networking issues
  • Collaborate with platform, middleware, and application teams on container onboarding and runtime requirements
  • Apply security best practices for containerized environments
System Administration & Operations (L3)
  • Provide L3 support for Linux and container platform-related incidents
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in production environments
  • Support BAU / Run activities, including incident, problem, and change management
  • Participate in maintenance windows, patching cycles, and major infrastructure changes
Security, Hardening & Compliance
  • Perform Linux system hardening in line with internal security standards and industry best practices
  • Support security hardening and configuration validation for Kubernetes environments
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Security and Audit teams during assessments and remediation activities
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions
  • Use configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible
  • Contribute to Terraform or similar IaC frameworks
  • Support automation for OS provisioning, configuration, and container platform operations
Performance, Monitoring & Capacity
  • Monitor Linux and Kubernetes platform health, performance, and capacity
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement tuning and remediation actions
  • Support proactive capacity planning and availability risk identification
Collaboration & Cross-Team Integration
  • Collaborate with network, storage, middleware, security, and application teams
  • Support application onboarding on both VM-based and container-based platforms
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and operational efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise Linux distributions (e.g. RHEL, Oracle Linux or equivalents)
  • Solid operational experience with Kubernetes platforms (cluster operations and troubleshooting)
  • Understanding of container concepts (Docker / OCI containers, images, registries)
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production systems
  • Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform or similar)
  • Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
